An Ideaboard is used to create a collection of ideas, but not specific to one College. For example, keep a collection of dorm room decorating ideas in an Ideaboard with pictures of various designs that interest you, from several college campuses that you found. By default, clicking on any College will automatically open the landing page, which is the 'Overview' Tab. However, clicking on the Wall Tab will open up trending campus life and what the campus activities entail, as well as campus photos. You may use the Wall or the Interest tab to select various tiles to pin to your Ideaboard.
Using the Interest Tab in the top of your screen also allows a search of various college which match that interest.
Start typing the interest for which you are searching and select from the drop down.
My display will features current photos of students' activities and clubs to allows a real-life look into campus daily life. Clicking on the 'Pin' button will pin various interests into your SCOIR Ideaboard.
For example, if my interest was photography and perhaps film, I can see these clubs are active at this College and I can peek at the facebook posts and/or youtube video(s) to verify how recent these posts were made. This way, I'm assured that the club is currently active as well as adding the ability to communicate directly with current students.
If they interest me, I can click Pin.
Selecting Pin will open a 'Pin Photo' window to allow this club interest to be added to any Ideaboard and/or Notebook. If you don't have an Ideaboard, clicking the down arrow allows the ability to create one from this screen.
All of your favorite 'Pins' get stored in one place for easy access and review later.
