Before transcripts can be submitted to a College, the student needs to make sure the College(s) to which they want to apply are present on the "Applied" or "Applying" column.
After academic and personal interests are entered, and the College stats reviewed, the student can add the college to their list by two methods. Either click the + sign from the college tile, or the Follow button in the College Details page.
To view your list, go to your My Colleges tab.
Once a College has been added to 'Following' a Student has the ability to move the college tile to the Applying or Applied column in Scoir by dragging an dropping this tile to the appropriate column.
Click on the college tile to open and navigate to the bottom of the tile, or drag the tile to the appropriate column.
Navigate to the bottom of the page and indicate that you intend to apply, or if dragging, the pop up box will open automatically.
This opens the application box to complete type and method.
Upon clicking Save, SCOIR will forward a message to your Counselor that documents need to be sent to this College on your behalf. This will also move the College tile to the 'Applying' column or the column it was dragged to (depending which method is used to move).
Students may move the college tile to the applied column once the application was submitted to the college by clicking "My application is submitted". You will be asked for a major if applicable. Again, dragging and dropping will automatically open the pop up box.
All of the document status data is stored on the individual College tile. This is available for students to view and keep track of application progress.
Application outcomes can be submitted as received by the students.
Outcomes can be changed as needed.
