Adding Counselors and Administrative staff to SCOIR is easy! This function can only be performed by someone with the Account Administrator Role.
Standard Counselors generally do not have this permission and will not be able to add staff to SCOIR.
Users cannot currently have both a Teacher and a Counselor Role unless they use a different email address for each User account.
Log into your SCOIR account.
Navigate to your Name | School Account & Settings
Select Add New User
Select a Role - Counselor or Teacher. Support Staff will be added as a Counselor Role and permission edited as needed.
Enter required information. Permission Roles will be assigned after the User is added. To invite the User to SCOIR as soon as they are added, ensure the 'Send email invite immediately' is checked blue.
By default, all Users who are in a 'Counselor' Role will by default have the following Role Permissions:
These Roles can be changed by unchecking the box next to each Role.

Clicking on the Close box will save the Roles and invite the User if the 'Send email invite immediately' was checked.
If Counselor should be invited at a later date, click continue. Counselor can be invited at a later date by checking the box in front of their name and from the "I would like to" Tab, select Invite Staff.
A list of your invited Staff will appear with a button to Invite the selected. A green check will appear in front of any staff not previously invited. Select Invite to send the invitation.
