Most of these changes are immaterial and are intended to provide greater clarity and/or to comply with the ever-changing landscape of laws and regulations across all 50 U.S. states. A revision history is contained below:

Simply stated: We equally share COPPA compliance responsibilities.
Simply stated: Sometimes we overlook typos and need to correct them :-0
Simply stated: Our Client Services Agreement is publicly available on our website, so it's obviously not "confidential." Similar references were removed from sections 10.2 and 10.3.

Simply stated: To avoid any ambiguity, we explicitly defined Personally Identifiable Information in a manner consistent with most state and federal regulations and incorporated that into the definition of Data.
Simply stated: For specificity, we clarified definitions related to the services we provide.
Simply stated: To comply with evolving state regulations concerning data protection and data breach notifications, Scoir has implemented a written information security program (“WISP”).
Simply stated: Here we provided further clarity of the fact that any “Third Party Services” you might access are not provided by Scoir and are not covered by this agreement.
Simply stated: If you’re entrusting us with your data, we should provide you assurances that your data will be maintained with appropriate security and redundancy measures in place.
Simply stated: These changes are to incorporate some of the above modifications.
Simply stated: Some school districts thought our FERPA compliance language regarding the protection of personally identifiable information was ambiguous, so we made it more straight-forward.
